If there’s ONE destination that has captured our hearts and beckoned us back time and time again, it’s the stunning Pueblo Bonito Pacifica in Cabo San Lucas. This all-inclusive, adults-only haven on the Pacific side of Cabo has become our go-to vacation spot, and I’m thrilled to share our love for this remarkable resort.
A Breezy Escape to Cabo
Our journey begins with a swift three-hour flight from Houston to San Jose del Cabo. We’ve made this trip countless times (39 to be exact 😅), and each time, we’re met by the familiar and friendly faces of Yomis Adventures. The personal connection with the family behind Yomis Adventures, like Johan and his father, ensures impeccable service from the moment we land until we depart. Their brand new luxury SUVs whisk us away on the 45-minute drive to Pacifica, setting the tone for an exceptional getaway.
A Love Story with Pueblo Bonito Pacifica
Our love affair with Pueblo Bonito Pacifica dates back to 2007, even before it became an all-inclusive resort. Over the years, we’ve developed meaningful connections with the staff, some of whom have been part of our vacations for nearly a decade. The introduction of The Towers section, where we now prefer to stay, brought even more reasons to cherish Pacifica.
Staying in The Towers section offers a wealth of privileges, including butler service, private check-in, upgraded room amenities, and breathtaking views. The VIP Whale Watching lounge is one of our favorite spots, which during whale season (late October through early April), is a treat where we’ve been fortunate to witness these magnificent creatures breaching near & far. The resort boasts an expansive private beach, where the magical sea turtle release ceremony always leaves us in awe.
Luxury Beyond Compare
The rooms at Pacifica are nothing short of breathtaking, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. What truly sets Pacifica apart is the dining experience. Unlike typical all-inclusive resorts, Pacifica offers sit-down restaurants with cuisine that exceeds expectations. The opportunity to dine at other Pueblo Bonito restaurants at sister Cabo properties adds variety to our culinary adventures.
Sunsets, Sunrises, and More
The beautifully designed pools offer ample relaxation space, and the beach is dotted with cabanas providing exceptional service for food and drinks. Breakfast in the VIP lounge and evening cocktails while watching stunning sunsets are moments we treasure.
For a change of pace, we head to the sister property where The Afters, a lively sports bar, offers a relaxed atmosphere. Pacifica combines a chill vibe with upscale luxury, making it a paradise that suits our every mood.
Exploring the Charms of Cabo
While Pacifica feels like home, we always make time to explore Cabo, which often means chartering a private yacht. Whale season it’s a must & we highly recommend Gregory Tours or Alex with Fish Protocol!
A 10-minute taxi ride takes us into town, where we feel safe and welcomed. Sister properties, Rose and Blanco, await on Medano beach, where our all-inclusive access grants us beach chairs, food, and drinks.
In town, we visit our favorite bar, Uno Mas, known for its local appeal, lively atmosphere & friendly bartenders. Always a good time guaranteed. Corazon Beach Club offers delectable bites and tequila shots, while ME Cabo – Taboo beach club delivers great music and live DJs.

A special celebration wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Sunset Mona Lisa. Sunset Mona Lisa is a renowned restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, celebrated for its breathtaking cliffside location with panoramic ocean views, making it perfect for romantic occasions. The menu offers exquisite Italian and Mediterranean dishes, including fresh seafood and prime meats.
