There are places you visit once and enjoy—and then there are places that become part of your story. For us, Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is firmly in the second category.

We returned in August 2025 to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary, and this marked close to 30 visits to this resort over the years. That alone should tell you something. Pacifica remains, without question, one of our favorite properties anywhere.

Weather, Vibes, and Why We Keep Coming Back
The Cabo weather was nearly perfect—warm, sunny, and just a touch windy, which actually made the days even more comfortable. Pacifica has a calm, adults-only energy that never feels stale, no matter how many times you return. It’s familiar in the best way, yet always manages to feel special.
As always, we stayed in The Towers, the newer section added around 2016–2017. The Towers are our default choice now—modern, quiet, elevated views, and a level of service that feels more private and intentional.
The Butler Team That Makes It Personal
One of the biggest reasons this trip stood out—again—was our incredible butlers, Dulce and Gabriel. They know us, they remember what matters, and they go far beyond “excellent service.” They create moments.

On our actual anniversary night, they arranged a private, candlelit dinner on the VIP whale-watching terrace—set up exclusively for us. Outdoor, romantic, beautifully styled, and completely removed from the rest of the resort. It felt intimate and intentional, not staged.
We had a fixed menu, one-on-one service, and Ricardo as our dedicated server for the evening. His attention to detail and pacing made the night feel effortless. No rush, no distractions—just us, the ocean, candlelight, and a truly memorable meal.
To top it off, we returned to flowers waiting in our room, another thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Pacifica consistently excels at this kind of quiet, meaningful hospitality.
Dining, Beach Time, and Pacifica Traditions
Dinner at Siempre was outstanding, as usual—consistently one of our favorite restaurants on property. We also enjoyed dinner at Peninsula, and spent time soaking in the massive, private-feeling beach, which is one of Pacifica’s greatest assets. Wide, uncrowded, dramatic, and endlessly peaceful.
One of my personal highlights was attending a sea turtle release. I find these moments incredibly special every single time. Wayne may not always love going—but he always goes with me, and that makes it even better.

And of course, the sunsets—night after night of stunning, glowing skies over the Pacific. Cabo never disappoints in that department, and Pacifica offers some of the best sunset vantage points anywhere.

Short Trip, Lasting Impressions
This was a quick four-night stay, but it delivered everything we needed: rest, romance, familiarity, and a reminder of why we keep choosing this place year after year.
We already can’t wait to go back—and knowing us, it won’t be long.
