This was our 30th official stay, and somehow it still feels like the first time we exhale the moment we step onto property. This trip was completely last-minute — construction chaos at home pushed us to book, pack, and go. No overplanning. No countdown. Just “we need out.”
And Pacifica delivered exactly what we needed.
The Setting (Peak Whale Season Magic)
The weather has been unreal — clear skies, perfect ocean breeze, and the kind of golden sunsets Cabo does better than anywhere. It’s peak whale season, and we’ve been spotting whales daily right from the beach. There is something grounding about watching them breach while you’re barefoot in the sand. It resets perspective quickly.
Thirty stays in, and that view still hits.
Our Favorite This Trip: Siempre
Dinner at Siempre has easily been the standout this stay. Consistently excellent. Every course thoughtfully executed. The pacing, the flavors, the presentation — all dialed in. It’s refined without being stuffy, and that balance is rare.
The People (Why We Keep Coming Back)
Let’s be honest. Properties are beautiful. Service is what makes them unforgettable.
Dulce and Gabriel are always a highlight — warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay seamless. Oscar at the Peninsula Bar went above and beyond taking care of us – proactive, thoughtful, and never missing a detail. They make these trips ONE OF THE ONLY reasons we come to Pacifica!
Manuel, Francisco, and Daniela have all been incredible as well. It’s the kind of team that makes you feel known, not just served.
That consistency over thirty visits is not normal. It’s intentional.
